MICROBIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES EQUIPMENT
The inventions presented will find wide application in microbiological industry... "Engineering proposals for combined works, plane, rigid filled, capacity feeds may be used in the development of new types of biotechnological equipment". (Decision of the joint conferee of Synthetic Albumen Research Institute, Antibiotic Research Institute, Municipal Water Supply And Purification Research Institute, Rostov Research Institute of the Academy of Public Service, dated 25 May, 1988).
The use of the inventions in chemical industry will permit to reduce the height of the mass-transfer equipment (packed and rectification columns, scrubbers) from 50-90 to 10-15 m, apply fans and low-pressure pumps instead of high-pressure compressor plants and pump units.
The power consumption in the new fermentation and mass-transfer equipment will be 3-4 times lower.
That is why Rostov Research Institute is also interested in co-operation with specialised research organisations, enterprises and companies.
